Available at  BOOTS
My experience:
I bought the Soap & Glory Kit for Christmas 2012 when I went into Boots (around €30). This body wash is a part of the kit. The price is around €11/12 for the shower gel individually, it is a bit expensive. Bit too expensive in my eyes.
It’s a very girly fragrance; it has floral and fruity notes. It’s a very nice fragrance but it’s very mild in this shower gel. It doesn’t linger at all after the shower. I really don’t like this aspect, as I love it when there is some fragrance lingering around me. Of course it is possible to layer different products to intensify the fragrance but this shower gel individually doesn't retain the fragrance at all. Very disappointing especially at that price.
The consistency of the shower gel is cream like. It lathers up  well with a loofah/sponge . It is good at cleaning, just like most shower gels. It’s not drying at all.
The packaging is very attractive. It is also very travel friendly. Since this product comes in many different sizes the travel-sized bottle - its very sturdy and easy to get open and get the product out.  I sometimes find it a little difficult to take the product out of the tiny opening. But the full sized bottle comes with a pump and I am sure this problem won’t exist then.

Overall, I feel that this is just a normal shower gel. It is nothing special. Its fragrance is great but since it doesn’t linger at all, I see no advantage of the fragrance. Moreover, it is expensive and not easily available in shops, I have only seen it in Boots.
Why you’ll like it:
  •     Nice fragrance.
  •     Cute packaging
  •     Lathers well.
  •     Cleans well.
  •     Not drying.

Why you’ll dislike it:
  •    Expensive.
  •    Availability.
  •    Scent doesn’t linger at all.

To buy or not to buy?
Not buy.
My rating:
7/10

Yankee Candle Tarts

Yankee Candle Tarts
Enjoy beautiful fragrance that lasts with Yankee Candle Wax Tarts. Each Yankee Wax Tart is highly fragranced with all your favorite Yankee scents.Simply place a Wax Tart in one of our Oil Burners and light an Unscented Tea Light inside. The fragrance will fill your home as the flame gently melts the wax tart. We also have a wonderful range of Essential Oils and Fragrance Oils to use in oil burners. If you enjoy wax tarts, you will love our range of fragranced Soy Beads. Soy beads can also be used to mix fragrances together, or by adding them to wax tarts or essential oils. Have some fun and experiment with all your favourite scents! Wax tarts make a great alternative to traditional candles and can even be used without melting. Place them in your suitcase when travelling, or your wardrobes and cupboards to gently fill the space with beautiful aroma.

I believe it's called the Petal Bowl Wax Tart Burner. I got mine with a bit of discount because I got it in a Christmas sale, but they usually retail for about  €12 which isn't too steep! You just pop your chosen wax tart in the top and burn a tealight in the little section underneath. I use unscented tealights. The heat from the tea-light melts the wax and fills the room with beautiful smells!

Now, you can't have a tart burner and no wax tarts! So naturally I picked two or three to try out.
Here are some of my favorites!

Review: Aloe Vera Gel - with Tea Tree

What is Aloe Vera?

Aloe vera is a prickly and green plant that is growing all over the world. It has leaves that can grow to 1-2 feet tall, it also has spikes of yellow and orange flowers. The leaves contain the aloe vera a clear gel that can be used on the skin. There are many different ranges of Aloe Vera products - Aloe Vera Juice,Aloe Vera Lotion, Aloe Vera Toothpaste and Aloe Vera supplements

Aloe Vera Gel can be used on many areas/problems on your body and face. I have used Aloe Vera for many years, I have had the raw plant and now have moved onto the gel which is far more convenient and easier to travel with also. Aloe Vera has many healing properties to it, and also cleanses, softens and helps restore dry and damaged skin, with the added benefit of the antiseptic properties from the Tea Tree Oil.

It also helps with:

  1. Stretch Marks
  2. Scars
  3. Dry/Chapped Skin
  4. Sun Burn

  6. Minor Burns

The price for a 200ml bottle is 7.85€

In my experience pf using this product it has done wonders for any problems I may get, I got horribly sun burnt about tow years ago and this product was my wonder product, it felt so good going onto the skin with the soothing of my sun burn it made my ordeal so much easier.

Review: Garnier Intensive 7 Day Body Lotion

I decided that I wanted to try a new moisturizer because all of my other ones that I had were taking to long to absorb into my skin and left me feeling cold and I had to wait for ages to get dressed. So, I thought I would try Garnier 7 day intensive  in Mango.

There are many variations - (Price 4.50€)

  • Aloe Vera: Normal Skin
  • Mango Oil: Dry Skin
  • Honey: Sensitive Skin
  • Cocoa Butter: Dry and Rough Skin
  • Shea Butter: Dry to Extra-Dry Skin

This moisturizer makes my skin feel so soft and the smell is great it stays on your skin for a while after you put it on, which I love so much. It also sinks into your skin so fast and looks matte, you can get dressed in a flash. I use this all over my body after a shower, if you apply this everyday for 7 days your skin feels super soft and fabulous looking.

It has so many great things going for it:

  • The smell: it's nice and stays for a bit
  • The consistency: PERFECT.  Sinks in very fast
  • The price: small size €2.99 and for the larger one is €4.99
  • The size range: It comes in two sizes.
  • How long it lasts: I can get about eight weeks constant usage from one bottle.

DIY - Honey Lip Scrub

I was just thinking the other day, the weather is still so cold out and my lips are pretty dry even with repeated use of lip balms. So I said I would go to Lush to have a look at there lip scrubs but they are so expensive for the amount of product you get. Granted the results from these lip scrubs are very good and taste and smell great, but for the size of the pot you get and the expiry date of the scrub, I decided that I might try to make my own, so I have done just that.

You only need a few items:

  • Vegetable Oil
  • Honey
  • Sugar
  • Bowl
  • Spoon

Steps to great,soft Lips!

  1. 2 teaspoons of each (Honey,Oil,Sugar)
  2. Mix all your items together, into your bowl.
  3. Mix until gritty but not to firm, a little bit runny is just perfect.
  4. Apply some of the scrub to your lips
  5. Leave on for 1-2 Minutes
  6. Wipe off with a cloth or tissue

Your lips are ready to be kissed! <3

How to - Become Healthy

I have recently started to eat healthier and develop a healthier lifestyle in general. I'm not a doctor so these are just things that have been working for me over the last 2 months or so. The reason that I decided to change my eating habits and exersise more was I smoked for about 6 years of my life (social smoker) I quit in August 2012 and I have been off them ever since. I thought when I smoked that it was the reason I felt bad and not up to doing anything but my diet at the time was also terrible, revolving around pizzas etc. When I quit smoking I noticed that I didnt feel much better in myself, so one day I said lets go for it. I started small by adding food to my diet that I already liked which was better overall and less fattening, in place of foods that gave now health benefit at all . I thought this was the best way for me to end up eating healthy all the time. So thats my story now let me try help you.

Start off small

I brought some fruit into my diet for the first few weeks or so, this just helped me enjoy the taste more and more. After a few weeks, take one thing out of your diet like instead of coke drink orange juice, this worked so well for me, you just feel great that you have not strayed back to your old habits.

Exersice

I started to walk every day, I hated it at first but after a week or so you begin to enjoy the feeling of being out and about and seeing the world go by. I slowly began to jog and noticed I became faster and faster and eventully started to run. I still have a long way to go before I can run my whole route, I walk some and jog/run the rest. This helps as you regain your strength and energy when walking.

Foods I eat

  • Bananas
  • Kiwis
  • Apples
  • Oranges
  • Tomotes
  • Salads
  • Tuna
  • Salmon
  • Lettue
  • Green Tea
  • Smooties
  • Blueberries
  • Sushi
  • Blackberries
  • Juices
  • Cucumber
  • Sweet Potatoes
  • Mutli-Grain Bars
  • Rice Cakes

Sticking With It

My trick to sticking with my diet is to give myself a "funday" this is a day where you eat and drink what you like(within reason), this keeps me from eating junk during the week as I can say I will have that on my "funday" this is great as you have control over your food all week long until that day
